LC-MS/MS Analysis of Sphingolipids

Analyzing hydrophobic sphingolipids using LC-MS is challenging with standard ODS columns. The authors demonstrated that using the wide-pore ODS column Cadenza CW-C18 in conjunction with a triple quadrupole MS allows for the analysis of ceramides, sphinganine, sphingosine, sphingosine-1-phosphate, and sphinganine-1-phosphate.

Cadenza CW-C18 column is highly effective for LC-MS analysis of lipids.
