Column Comparison for Acetylcholine LC-MS Analysis

Acetylcholine, being a highly polar compound, is challenging to analyze using standard ODS columns. The multi-mode ODS column Scherzo SS-C18, however, allows for highly sensitive and reproducible analysis. Traditional HILIC columns require several hours of initial conditioning for stabilization, whereas the Scherzo SS-C18 column, operating in reversed-phase plus ion-exchange mode, does not require such extensive conditioning. This makes the Scherzo column particularly effective for LC-MS analysis of ionic, highly polar substances.
