Cadenza CD-C18

High-Resolution LC-MS/MS Untargeted Lipidomics Method Applicable to a Wide Range of Biological Samples

High-resolution MS is gaining attention in lipid biochemistry.

This paper discusses an untargeted lipidomics method using LC-MS/MS in positive/negative switching modes for 30-minute analyses and detecting fragment ions via data-dependent acquisitions (DDA).
It describes tissue, fluid, and cell sample preparations, making it a highly valuable paper for lipid analysis.

Of particular note in the material separation is a special note under "Materials - Equipment" in the paper:

"While analysis is possible with other C18 columns, the Cadenza CD-C18 column (150x2mm) is particularly robust and reproducible, making it a durable column for lipidomics analysis (Page 4)."

Designed to exhibit excellent separation performance even for highly hydrophobic lipids, Cadenza CD-C18 has been highly regarded in our laboratory for many years as an ODS column.
