Practical Application of Plasma Direct Injection Method Using Novel Hydrophobic/Hydrophilic Hybrid ODS Stationary Phase

Cadenza HS-C18, a hydrophilic/hydrophobic hybrid ODS column designed for direct serum injection, was utilized in this study. The authors validated the usefulness of the plasma direct injection method using this column in pharmacokinetic studies of lansoprazole in plasma.

As a result, it was found that comparable changes in plasma concentration, linearity, accuracy, and precision to conventional protein removal methods were achieved. Moreover, the column allowed for more than 300 repeated injections.

The practicality of Cadenza HS-C18 was demonstrated, suggesting its potential to replace conventional protein removal methods in serum direct injection applications.

Serum direct injection Cadenza HS-C18 is expected to contribute to improved analytical efficiency in DMPK and TDM.
