Analysis Reproducibility of Testosterone and 17-Hydroxyprogesterone Using IONICS 3Q 220

The IONICS 3Q 220 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, provided by IONICS, not only offers high sensitivity but also excels in reproducibility.

We added testosterone and 17-hydroxyprogesterone at a final concentration of 1 ng/mL to human serum, and after sample preparation, injected them 5000 times into the Cadenza CD-C18 HT column to measure the variability in their areas.
The coefficient of variation for area values was 2.3% and 3.2%, respectively, demonstrating highly reproducible results.

The combination of the high-performance IONICS 3Q 220 and the Cadenza CD-C18 HT high-pressure column enables LC-MS analysis with excellent reproducibility and durability.

High-Throughput Parallel Analysis of Immunosuppressants in Whole Blood Using a Coaxial Flow Ion Source LC-MS/MS System with Dual ESI Probes

In fields requiring ultra-fast analysis, such as drug monitoring, efficiency can be achieved by connecting two LC systems in parallel to a single mass spectrometer. The IONICS 3Q 120 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer features a coaxial ion source structure with two electrospray probes, enabling simultaneous analysis of two LC-MS systems.

Immunosuppressants Tacrolimus, Sirolimus, Everolimus, and Cyclosporin A were added to whole blood and analyzed using this system after sample preparation.
The results showed good linearity in the range of 0.2-200 ng/mL or 2-2000 ng/mL, with an analysis time of 1.5 minutes, achieving twice the throughput of conventional analysis.

Rapid and Simple LC-MS/MS Method for Analyzing Pain Medications in Urine

Urine drug analysis is a useful method for monitoring the misuse and abuse of pain medications due to its ease of sample collection.

Using the IONICS 3Q 200 mass spectrometer and the Cadenza CD-C18 HT column, we developed a quantification method for drugs in urine.
The results demonstrated ultra-sensitive detection of fentanyl and norfentanyl at 500 ag/µL.

Additionally, high linearity was confirmed for pentazocine and meperidine in the fg/µL range.

The high-performance IONICS 3Q 200 and the Cadenza CD-C18 HT high-pressure column are powerful tools for drug monitoring in urine.

High-Sensitivity LC-MS/MS Analysis of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 in Serum Using Offline Sample Preparation

We examined the LC-MS/MS analysis of vitamin D2 and D3 metabolites in serum using the high-sensitivity IONICS 3Q 220 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer.
The results showed good linearity in the ranges of 3.9-63.6 ng/mL and 1.1-73.4 ng/mL, respectively, with LLOQs of 500 pg/mL and 250 pg/mL, enabling highly sensitive analysis.

The combination of the high-performance IONICS 3Q 220 and the Cadenza CD-C18 HT high-pressure column allows for highly sensitive metabolite analysis.

Drug Dynamics in Breast Milk

We studied the dynamics of drugs excreted into breast milk using LC-MS/MS.

Methotrexate was subcutaneously administered at 25 mg/mL, and the parent drug and its metabolite (7OH-methotrexate) were measured in breast milk using the IONICS 3Q 220 and Unison UK-C8.
The results showed good linearity in the range of 0.75-25 ng/mL. The measurements in breast milk correlated highly with LC-MS analysis values used clinically for serum. Additionally, for the first time, it was clarified that there was no quantitative difference between foremilk and hindmilk.

The high-performance IONICS 3Q 220 and the Unison UK-C8 column are effective for the TDM system in breast milk.

High-Sensitivity LC-MS/MS Quantitative Analysis of Methotrexate in Human Serum

IONICS's triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is known for its high sensitivity.

We examined the high-sensitivity quantitative analysis of methotrexate in serum using the IONICS 3Q 210 and the Unison UK-C8 column.
The results confirmed high linearity in a wide range from 30 pg/mL to 125 ng/mL.

The high-sensitivity MS IONICS 3Q and the Unison UK-C8 column contribute to high-sensitivity analysis in clinical and pharmaceutical fields.
